Job description

Job Requirements

At Siemens Healthineers, we pioneer breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably. Join our world-leading MRI development and manufacturing organisation and help shape how digital technology enables the future of healthcare manufacturing. Our superconducting magnets sit at the heart of MRI systems globally, and digitalisation is a key enabler of our continued success.

About the role

This is an opportunity to take a leading role in the strategic direction, operation and evolution of our SAP landscape, supporting both established manufacturing operations and a new flagship, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

SAP supports critical operations across manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain, planning and enterprise processes. You’ll provide leadership across an evolving landscape incorporating SAP ECC, EWM, ME, Digital Manufacturing and our future S/4HANA roadmap.

It’s a role with genuine breadth. You’ll combine technology leadership with people development and close business partnership, bringing colleagues together around shared priorities while maintaining stable, reliable and scalable systems.

For you, that means the opportunity to influence strategic technology decisions, develop talented people and lead transformational initiatives across a critical business platform, while working on projects that impact healthcare worldwide.

What you'll be doing
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across our SAP ecosystem, including SAP ECC, EWM, ME, Digital Manufacturing and S/4HANA initiatives.
  • Lead and develop a collaborative SAP team, encouraging continuous learning, shared ownership and accountability.
  • Shape governance across the SAP project, improvement and support portfolio, balancing priorities, resources, risks and delivery milestones.
  • Build trusted partnerships across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality and other functions, helping colleagues translate business needs into effective digital solutions.
  • Bring business and technology teams together through regular reviews, prioritisation and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Help ensure projects, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives deliver their intended benefits.
  • Grow SAP capability across the organisation through knowledge sharing, training, engagement and effective adoption.
  • Encourage end-to-end thinking, cross-training and collaboration across systems and functional boundaries.
  • Provide senior leaders with clear insight into SAP performance, project delivery, risks, opportunities and future priorities.
  • Help shape our evolving digital manufacturing strategy and SAP roadmap in support of our Industry 4.0 vision.
Work Experience

You’ll bring significant experience leading or managing SAP solutions in a manufacturing, operations or supply-chain environment, alongside knowledge of SAP ECC, EWM, ME, Digital Manufacturing and S/4HANA.

You’ll also bring:

  • Experience managing SAP support, enhancements and project delivery, including upgrades, testing, deployments and releases.
  • An understanding of SAP integrations spanning warehouse, manufacturing, planning and enterprise processes.
  • Experience working effectively with external implementation partners, consultancies or support providers.
  • Strong project, portfolio and workload-management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and operational stability.
  • Experience establishing effective governance, reporting and performance measures.
  • The ability to develop constructive relationships and influence stakeholders at different levels.
  • Confidence translating technical concepts into practical business outcomes and supporting colleagues through change.
  • A collaborative approach to leadership, with a focus on developing people, sharing knowledge and building capability.
  • An organised, proactive approach and enthusiasm for technology, innovation and continuous learning.

Experience with SAP APO, MDG, BTP or related technologies would be advantageous rather than essential.

Benefits

This role gives you significant scope to shape our SAP future while developing your own leadership and technical breadth. You’ll have opportunities to influence strategy, develop people, strengthen organisational capability and help advance manufacturing digitalisation.
