A leading energy provider in Glasgow is seeking an experienced SAP Business Process Expert to drive process improvements and manage software delivery. You will lead diverse teams and stakeholders while utilizing your strong SAP skills. This role offers an annual salary from £57-72K plus benefits including a 15% bonus, private healthcare, and 36 days of annual leave.

The position of SAP Business Process Expert is within the Customer Business Centre of Excellence CoE. The CoE is a team of c.100 IT professionals who work with the business units to deliver IT change to implement business improvements and deliver excellence to our customers.
Your role will be to deliver significant system and process changes to support business improvements, which span across multiple technologies and 3rd party vendors.
You will be leading the end to end design and implementation of the solution, managing diverse teams and senior stakeholders. We are looking for IT professionals with strong technical and leadership skills to join our growing, technology focussed team. You should have proven SAP technical and functional skills to enable the smooth implementation of system changes and challenge the process where necessary.
What you'll be doing
Ownership of the overall scope of the deliveries and ensuring gaps are identified and addressed as soon as possible
Ability to articulate ideas effectively and work on complex problems with a solution-focused approach
Ability to own the solution technically, raise any risks that may derive from that technical approach.
Ability to provide an innovative approach.
Nice to have a knowledge on how the utility industry works specifically pre-payment meters (not a mandatory skill).
What you'll bring
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical field.
Be passionate about technology, think analytically about problems and help drive innovative solutions
Previous experience with leading the delivery of software solutions to meet business needs and expected benefits
Ability to manage business stakeholders, developers, and testers to drive forward system and process improvements
Preferred specialist knowledge on Meter to Cash processes, SMART solutions / Electric Vehicle
