Discover Recruitment is seeking an experienced SAP Business One Consultant to join a growing delivery team. You will lead end‑to‑end SAP Business One projects for manufacturing, wholesale distribution, engineering and professional services across the UK.

You will design practical SAP Business One solutions, run workshops with stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery while maintaining trusted advisory relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years SAP Business One experience delivering implementations.
• Experience running customer workshops and gathering business requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Business One implementation projects from discovery to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Facilitate workshops with finance, operations, warehousing and senior leadership teams to understand requirements.
• Configure SAP Business One across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Production and MRP.
• Produce functional specifications for bespoke developments, integrations and reporting.
• Collaborate with developers to deliver tailored enhancements using add-ons.
• Support data migration activities including cleansing, mapping and validation.
• Deliver end‑user training and user documentation.
• Provide post‑go‑live hyper‑care and ongoing consultancy to customers.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.

Our client, a well-respected SAP systems integrator with an established presence across the UK, is looking to appoint an experienced SAP Business One Consultant to join their growing delivery team. With a strong pipeline of implementation and upgrade projects across manufacturing, wholesale distribution, engineering and professional services, this is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of end-to-end SAP Business One programmes.

You’ll play a key role throughout the full project lifecycle, working closely with customers to understand their operational processes, design practical SAP Business One solutions and ensure successful project delivery. This is a client-facing role that would suit someone who enjoys building long-term relationships and becoming a trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Business One implementation projects from discovery through to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Facilitate workshops with finance, operations, warehousing and senior leadership teams to understand business requirements.
• Configure SAP Business One across core functional areas including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Production and MRP.
• Produce functional specifications for bespoke developments, integrations and reporting requirements.
• Work alongside SAP Business One developers to deliver tailored enhancements using Boyum, B1UP or bespoke add-ons where required.
• Support data migration activities including cleansing, mapping and validation.
• Deliver end‑user training and produce user documentation.
• Provide post‑go‑live hyper‑care and ongoing consultancy to existing customers.
• Collaborate with internal project managers and technical consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Experience Required

• Must have a minimum of 3 years SAP Business One experience with proven experience delivering SAP Business One implementation projects.
• Strong functional knowledge across multiple SAP Business One modules.
• Experience running customer workshops and gathering business requirements.
• Understanding of manufacturing, wholesale distribution or engineering business processes would be highly beneficial.
• Experience with Boyum usability package, B1UP or other SAP Business One add‑ons is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports and SQL queries would be desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK when required.
