Job summary

Accenture UK is seeking a SAP BDC Architect to spearhead data architecture and solution delivery on SAP transformation programs across London and other UK cities. You will translate client requirements into SAP designs, guiding multi-disciplinary teams to deliver value through modern data platforms.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, and BW modernization, and can engage with senior stakeholders as trusted advisors in complex S/4HANA programs.

Qualifications

• Two client delivery lifecycles on a solution stack including SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere.
• Delivery of SAP BW based solutions and modernization of BW landscapes.

Role: SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) Architect

Location: London /Birmingham/ Manchester

Salary: Competitive salary and package dependent on experience

You will work on full lifecycle data journeys with clients from roadmap through to execution, delivering value through the latest features and benefits within SAP solution set.

In our team you will:

• Advising clients on their data architecture and platform strategies, driving value creation through the positioning of BDC alongside platforms from other vendors, shaping this into holistic data architecture strategies to support our clients AI and Analytics journeys.

• Leading the modernisation of clients BW landscapes, including shaping advice on BW PCE journeys and unlocking value through adoption of new BDC features.

• Lead end to end BDC solution delivery in either S/4HANA transformations or in standalone data initiatives.

• Work with a wide range of clients across many industries on their transformational journeys, ranging from smaller single function, in country projects to S/4HANA enabled global business transformations.

As a SAP BDC Architect you will:

Be an integral part of our team supporting our clients SAP transformation projects through acting as a data and solutions architect. You will work closely with clients, translating their business and functional requirements into SAP functional designs and overseeing solution delivery. Your strong business data and platform knowledge, combined with your in-depth expertise will be key to designing effective and efficient solutions for our clients.

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

• At least two client delivery lifecycles on a solution stack that includes modern SAP data components including SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere.

• Deep experience gained in the delivery of SAP BW based solutions; ability to rapidly assess clients BW existings investments as part of modernisation solutioning.

• Extensive hands on delivery experience of SAP Analytics Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere and ideally some Databricks delivery experience.

• Proven enterprise data and analytics architecture skills that include experience of other non SAP data platforms and approaches for the integration of these with SAP solutions.

• Experience of integrating SAP with other modern data platforms including Databricks and Snowflake.

• Proven experience of the delivery of data strategies on large complex S/4HANA transformation programs.

• Proven capabilities in leading a distributed delivery team, working with colleagues in offshore delivery centres for solution delivery.

• Strong communication skills and demonstrated experience of working with senior client stakeholders acting as a trusted advisor.
