PURPOSE STATEMENT

• To ensure hygiene standards are maintained in the manufacturing areas to enable the safe production of foods in accordance with company standards.

Key Accountabilities/Outcomes

• Ensure that all cleaning activities are carried out in accordance with company cleaning instruction cards within the determined cleaning frequency.
• Ensure all cleaning chemical preparations and dilutions comply with company cleaning instruction cards and correct chemical usage for the application.
• Use the correct cleaning equipment and materials for the designated cleaning activities.
• Complete all cleaning records to company standards and raise any non-conformities in coordination with the Technical Services Manager.
• Upon completion of scheduled work, ensure the area(s)/item(s)/machinery are handed back and signed off as fit for purpose by the Production Line Manager.
• Maintain hygiene stock adequately and ensure correct replenishment.
• Assist in stocktaking of cleaning chemicals and materials.
• Comply with COSHH regulations and wear correct PPE during all activities.
• Handle and store chemicals, raw materials, and end products in accordance with company, quality, safety, and legal standards.
• Report any pest issues or cleaning equipment defects immediately to the Technical Services Manager.

You must comply with Rich Products Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
