Job summary

Eden Project is recruiting a Commis Chef for our Sandwich room production kitchen, creating soups, salads and sandwiches for delivery to Hospitality Venues across site. The role requires attention to detail, speed, and the ability to work in a busy production kitchen.

Shifts start at 6am, with in-house training and benefits including 30 days annual leave (pro rata) and entry to Eden/Heligan for family and friends. This position offers a supportive team and progression in fresh, local produce.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a chef production environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package food in the Sandwich room production kitchen to exact specifications.
• Ensure timely production so Hospitality venues have a full range of products.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
