Veterinary Surgeon – Sanders Vets, Cwmbran

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our exceptional team. This role is ideal for vets who thrive on a diverse caseload and are committed to delivering outstanding patient care. You’ll have the opportunity to grow in confidence, develop new skills, and work with a great mix of consultations and surgeries.

We’re open to discussing full-time and part-time options to suit your needs. A typical full-time role is 40 hours over 4 or 5 days, with a fixed day off if preferred, occasional Saturday mornings, and no OOH.

With over 60 years of service, we have built a loyal and strong client base. Our recently refurbished practice is equipped with:

  • In-house lab machines
  • Multiparameter monitoring
  • Dedicated dental and imaging rooms
  • Double theatre, separate kennels, and a cattery area

Situated in a charming village near Cwmbran, we offer the best of both worlds—peaceful village life with easy access to Newport and Cardiff.

Work with an Experienced and Supportive Team

You’ll be joining a close-knit team of:

  • 4 experienced Vets (20+ years combined experience, with interests in Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, and one currently completing an Ophthalmology certificate)
  • 6 long-standing RVNs with special interests in canine behaviour and feline medicine
  • 1 Veterinary Care Assistant
  • 4 dedicated Receptionists
  • A dynamic and supportive Practice Manager
