Bank of America is seeking an Operations Analyst – Sanctions to join the Sanctions Center of Excellence within Global Payment Operations in Bromley. The role focuses on OFAC alert investigations, screening reviews, and ensuring compliance with sanctions programs while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sanctions screening reviews in accordance with established procedures, ensuring timely and accurate review of alerts while maintaining compliance with regulatory, policy and risk management requirements.
• Achieve productivity, quality and service level expectations by processing assigned workloads efficiently and consistently across all supported screening queues.
• Identify, challenge and elevate potential risks, issues and concerns in a timely manner, supporting a culture of strong risk awareness, transparency and continuous improvement.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, including recommending filter enhancements, reducing false positive alerts and supporting process optimisation initiatives.
• Keep up to date with procedural changes, job aids, policy updates, training requirements and industry developments to ensure knowledge remains current and decisions remain aligned with expectations.
• Contribute positively to team culture by collaborating effectively with colleagues, sharing knowledge, supporting the development of others and promoting an inclusive and respectful working environment.
• Participate with the coordination of implementation for products, services, and operational solutions.
