Peterborough City Council is seeking a Statutory Administration Assistant to provide essential administrative support to keep statutory processes running on time and in line with legal timescales.
You will maintain accurate records, coordinate EHC assessments and reviews, prepare correspondence, monitor deadlines and act as a key contact for families, schools and professionals. This is a busy role within the Statutory SEND Team.
As our new Statutory Administration Assistant here at Peterborough City Council you will provide administrative support to ensure statutory processes are managed efficiently and within legal timescales.
You main duties will include maintaining accurate records, coordinating assessments and reviews, preparing correspondence and documentation, monitoring deadlines, and acting as a key point of contact for families, schools, and professionals.

The Statutory SEND Team is dedicated to ensuring that children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) receive the support they need to achieve their best outcomes. We work collaboratively with families, educational settings, health professionals and other partners to coordinate the Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessment process and maintain high-quality Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
