Alfred H Knight is seeking a Sampling and Preparation Analyst to join their team at Olympic Park, Dundonald, UK.

The role involves conducting sampling and sample preparation according to ASTM and ISO standards, working closely with the Deputy Sampling & Sample Prep Manager to ensure high-quality service and compliance with ISO 17025, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.

Requirements:

• Accurately sort, weigh, and record data for waste samples.
• Collect samples, including driving vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, ensuring safety and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with the public and record observations.
• Assist with sample preparation for chemical and moisture analysis.
• Highly organized with excellent communication skills.
• Motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in IT applications, including Microsoft, Google, and Citrix.
• Good numeracy skills.

Desirable:

• At least 1 year of experience in inspection and sample analysis, especially with coal/biomass/RDF streams.

Travel:

Travel and work rotations as required by business needs.
