Job description

Due to new project wins, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Sampler Technician to support our operations in West Thurrock. The role involves collecting and couriering samples to and from the Caleb Brett offices in the southeast daily.

About You:

Key Requirements:

1. Hold a valid, clean UK driving license
2. Ability to learn sampling techniques, laboratory operations/standards, and properties of relevant petroleum products
3. Exceptional customer service skills
4. Motivated, self-starter
5. Team-oriented mindset to promote operational synergies and support growth
6. Energetic, with a willingness to learn and adapt, fostering growth environment
7. Confident communicator (written and oral) capable of building rapport quickly and effectively

Role Responsibilities:

1. Carry out sampling using approved techniques
2. Test samples as directed
3. Travel to and from client and Intertek facilities, transporting samples in compliance with road traffic regulations
4. Complete daily vehicle condition reports
5. Assist in maintaining sample retention stores
6. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 18:00, with rotation and occasional overtime
