Here at SGS, we offer a dynamic work environment within a leading global company with sites throughout the UK. Our head office and key laboratory site are based in Ellesmere Port. We are currently recruiting for a Sample Registration Assistant.

Main Purpose of Role

• Register samples received from customers into the relevant laboratory system accurately and promptly to facilitate analysis.
• Coordinate with customer service daily regarding sample queries and deviations to ensure high customer service standards.
• Create customer references in the laboratory system and maintain accurate customer equipment data.
• Print customer asset labels for registration and mobile app use.

Ensure accurate entry and receipt of samples into Labware, adhering to procedures, and dispatching samples with the correct labels to customers.

Distribute sample information to appropriate departments.

Respond to customer requests and process samples accordingly, providing support as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful, you'll need:

• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• GCSEs in Science, Mathematics, and English (grades A to C) or equivalent.
