The successful candidate will not require prior laboratory experience, as training will be provided. However, those with a history in production, food services, or retail are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities of a Sample Preparation Technician:
- Accurately registering and preparing various food samples for analysis.
- Ensuring that sample preparation is completed in accordance with established SOPs and ISO17025 standards.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in line with health and safety protocols.
- Managing sample inventory, including tracking, storage, and disposal, as per guidelines.
- Collaborating with laboratory personnel to facilitate efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Sample Preparation Technician's are required to have:
- A high level of proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow standard operating procedures precisely.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and sample tracking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
