Join Centrica's Product and Engineering Shared Services as a Salesforce Solutions Specialist and be part of our dynamic DTS team! We're on a mission to build out our Centre of Enablement Salesforce team, creating processes that are reusable across all of Centrica, not just specific business units. We spend tens of millions on Salesforce, but we need your expertise to ensure we have the necessary in-house support for its ongoing use. By bringing in talented developers like you, we'll optimise our use of Salesforce and deliver on our company goals.

Location: UK, Windsor (talk to us about flexible working)

The day to day:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and flows.
• Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and automation tools to enhance business processes.
• Develop and maintain integrations with other enterprise applications to ensure seamless data flow.
• Monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and security to maintain a robust Salesforce environment.
• Define and document best practices for Salesforce development and usage.
• Mentor other developers to foster a collaborative and knowledgeable team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct unit and regression tests and participate in CI/CD pipeline integration to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance.
• Lead technical initiatives to drive innovation and improvement within the Salesforce platform.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.
• Conduct data quality reviews to ensure accuracy and reliability of Salesforce data.
• Develop user stories in collaboration with product managers to align development with business needs.

About You

• Demonstrated experience in developing and customising Salesforce solutions.
• Exposure to the use in Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, and Salesforce best practices
• Ability to lead by example and inspire others to achieve excellence in Salesforce development.
• Adept at managing multiple tasks and projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Flexible and responsive to evolving business needs and technological advancements.
• Skilled in persuading and motivating others to adopt best practices and innovative solutions.
• Takes initiative and drives projects forward with minimal supervision.
