Here at JELD-WEN Europe, a global organisation that produces and manufactures doors and doorsets, we’re looking for a Salesforce Release Manager based in the UK on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a home-based role within a growing cross-functional team, offering the opportunity to work hands-on with the latest Salesforce products.

We seek a skilled Salesforce Release Manager with a Salesforce development background. Your role will involve managing and streamlining release processes for our Salesforce platform, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, ensuring seamless deployments, and resolving deployment issues promptly. Effective communication and management skills are essential.

You will also support the development team with hands-on development tasks, enhancing team productivity and project outcomes.

The Salesforce Team is expanding during an exciting transformation at JELD-WEN, involving projects like CPQ, Telephony, and a new Salesforce Org roadmap, among other initiatives.

We offer this 12-month fixed-term contract role remotely, with a competitive salary, up to 25 days holiday, a 7.5% pension, and Medicash health plan.

Your impact will include:

1. Version Control & Release Management
2. Creating and managing release branches for structured deployment.
3. Performing advanced Git operations: merges, rebases, cherry-picks.
4. Resolving merge conflicts and maintaining clean commit histories.
5. Using GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation, setting up deployment pipelines, and integrating workflows.
6. Familiarity with release strategies like Git Flow or trunk-based development is a plus.
7. Troubleshooting deployment issues and implementing solutions.
8. Creating deployment plans aligned with release schedules.
9. Supporting development tickets during sprints.

What you'll need to succeed:

1. Proficiency in Git workflows and advanced Git operations, with experience in GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
2. Experience with Salesforce and release management.
3. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools.
4. Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
5. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and APEX.
6. Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies.
7. Strong understanding of application, system, and Salesforce architecture.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities for deployment troubleshooting.
