Drive the digital transformation of energy regulation! At Ofgem, we’re leading the charge to digitalise the energy sector, ensuring that consumers reap the benefits of cutting-edge technology and smarter regulation. We’re looking for a Salesforce Release Manager to join us and take ownership of seamless, efficient Salesforce deployments, ensuring our digital systems are aligned with business objectives and deliver real impact.
Ofgem is Great Britain’s independent energy regulator. We’re at the forefront of change across the energy sector, driving toward Net Zero whilst protecting energy consumers – especially vulnerable people.
We’re offering a permanent role in a fast-moving and high-profile area, providing the opportunity to work at the heart of Ofgem’s Strategic Change Programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in a complex and evolving digital landscape, working with expert teams across data, digitalisation, and technology. You’ll be a key player in our digital transformation journey, managing Salesforce releases that underpin our ability to regulate effectively in a changing energy market.
As our Salesforce Release Manager, you’ll oversee the planning, co-ordination, and execution of Salesforce deployments, ensuring smooth and secure system updates that meet compliance standards. You’ll engage with senior stakeholders, manage risks at a programme level, and work closely with developers, administrators, and product teams to deliver high-quality releases on time and with minimal disruption.
We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, experience in release management, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. You should be comfortable working in an agile and fast-paced environment, co-ordinating multiple projects, managing risks, and ensuring technical excellence. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.
At Ofgem, you’ll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking workplace, where your expertise will help drive meaningful digital transformation. We offer hybrid working, a commitment to work-life balance, and the opportunity to work at the forefront of technology and regulatory change in the energy sector.
We have a critical purpose to revolutionise how energy regulation is powered by technology. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring that Ofgem is a smart regulator, fit for a future energy market that is increasingly digital, data-driven, and consumer-focused.
