Role overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join our growing team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts for Salesforce Service Cloud solutions throughout the development lifecycle. This role demands a strong background in software quality assurance, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential issues. The QA Lead will work closely with developers, architects, and project managers, managing QA resources, Master Test Plans, Test Strategies, reporting, and test traceability.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for Salesforce Service Cloud implementations, based on provided designs and user stories.
- Lead a team of QA analysts and testers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.
- Oversee testing activities including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting risks, progress, and improvements.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and project managers to ensure quality standards are met.
- Participate in requirements gathering and design reviews to improve testability and quality.
- Drive QA process improvements, best practices, and testing methodologies.
- Work within an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and releases.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including Master Test Plans, Test Strategies, test cases, and quality metrics.
- Manage QA environment and tooling.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years in QA or testing, with 3+ years in a lead role.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.
- Deep understanding of testing methodologies and QA principles.
- Proven ability to design and execute test plans and strategies.
- Experience with Jira for defect tracking and test management.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead teams.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant) are desirable.
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium and Provar.
- Experience with tools like Zephyr.
- Proven experience in test automation and performance testing.
- Experience managing QA teams.
