The team you'll be working with:

As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a Salesforce Platform Enterprise Architect to join our Enterprise & Cloud Solutions department in London. You will work with clients across various industry sectors.

Role Overview:

Salesforce Platform Enterprise Architects serve as strategic advisors and guides for Salesforce products and platforms, engaging at the executive level and collaborating with enterprise architects and business users. They utilize standard enterprise architecture methodologies covering security, performance, development processes, and application governance.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders in strategic enterprise customers.
• Develop scalable, standard methodology solutions to meet client needs.
• Evaluate business and technical requirements, translating them into well-designed Salesforce solutions.
• Identify and mitigate design risks.
• Build relationships with key collaborators and team members.
• Lead architecture efforts by coordinating multiple architects.
• Support planning and implementation in collaboration with project managers and clients.
• Review project vision, approach, and key artifacts.
• Manage early solution evaluations and engage with executives and teams effectively.
• Mentor diverse teams, including clients, partners, and colleagues, in technical and non-technical topics.
• Contribute to internal initiatives, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
• Work with Pre-Sales teams to develop proposals covering architecture, security, compliance, integration, data migration, and implementation plans.

Experience and Skills:

• 12+ years in consulting and architecture, with leadership in digital transformation within a matrixed organization.
• 8+ years in enterprise architecture, including Salesforce Sales, Service, Commerce, Data Cloud, and integrations, plus AWS experience.
• Expertise in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes via technology.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce implementation projects from solution design to deployment.
• Strong understanding of system design, security requirements, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Salesforce AppExchange products and security options.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Leadership experience as a Senior Architect, CIO, or CTO in a mid to large organization, especially driving organizational transformation.
• Experience delivering enterprise applications on Salesforce, including coded solutions.
• Salesforce certifications and knowledge of Salesforce Industries.
• Understanding of Web Services, Data Modeling, and enterprise integration tools.
• Agile Methodology certification such as Scaled Agile Framework.
