Introduction

As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a Salesforce Platform Enterprise Architect to join our Enterprise & Cloud Solutions department in London, working with clients across various industry sectors.

Role Overview

Salesforce Platform Enterprise Architects serve as strategic advisors and guides for Salesforce products and platforms to our largest enterprise customers. They engage at the executive level, driving conversations with enterprise architects and business users, utilizing standard methodologies for enterprise architecture functions such as security, performance, development processes, and application governance.

What you'll be doing:

1. Be a trusted advisor to key stakeholders in strategic enterprise customers.
2. Ensure scalable solutions using standard methodologies to meet and exceed customer needs.
3. Evaluate business and technical requirements and translate them into well-designed solutions leveraging Salesforce platforms and products.
4. Identify and mitigate solution and business design risks.
5. Build and maintain relationships with key collaborators and team members.
6. Lead and coordinate the work of multiple architects on engagements.
7. Support planning and implementation in collaboration with project and engagement managers.
8. Review and guide project vision, implementation approach, and key artifacts.
9. Manage early solution evaluations and engage proactively with stakeholders including executives.
10. Mentor diverse teams, including customers, partners, and colleagues, on technical and non-technical topics.
11. Contribute to internal initiatives to foster growth, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
12. Collaborate with Pre-Sales teams to create proposals covering architecture, security, compliance, data migration, and implementation plans.

What experience you'll bring:

1. Over 10 years of experience in consulting and architecture, with demonstrated leadership in digital transformation within matrixed organizations.
2. Experience with enterprise architecture areas including Salesforce Cloud, Integration Technologies, MDM, and other Clouds like AWS.
3. Skills in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes through technology and integration.
4. Experience guiding customers and teams in deploying emerging technologies for business use cases.
5. End-to-end Salesforce implementation experience, including solution design and development (preferred).
6. Ability to identify gaps between current and desired system states and design solutions accordingly.
7. Proven ability to optimize business processes leveraging Salesforce products.
8. Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills with the ability to learn new technologies rapidly.
9. Knowledge of Salesforce AppExchange products and security considerations like SSO and data security.
10. Experience leading design sessions and communicating options to clients.
11. Extensive experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
12. Preferred: Experience as a Senior Architect, CIO, or CTO in organizational transformation, Salesforce enterprise applications, Salesforce certifications, and enterprise integration concepts.
13. Certification in Agile methodologies such as Scaled Agile Framework is a plus.
