We are currently recruiting a Lead Developer aligned to a scrum team supporting multiple concurrent projects from solution design, build, implementation, and post-implementation. You will ensure that all Salesforce developments follow the client's development standards and industry-wide Salesforce best practices. You will set up further enhancements and improvements to the Contact Center Platform using Salesforce Service Cloud, Service Cloud Voice and Amazon Connect.
In this role, you will need to be SC Cleared or at least SC Clearance eligible (at least 5 continuous years of residency in the UK).
The role involves working in a hybrid model with day shifts.
Some of your key responsibilities will be to:
- Support the deployments through the use of DevOps tooling (Copado, Github, codescan.io, Developer console, Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code, etc.)
- Test execution and code coverage validation and monitor code quality during code reviews to ensure it meets client's standards
- Maintain a Kanban board to document, organize, and schedule code reviews
- Ensure team develops items to the Definition of Done (DoD) - including solution design and documented peer review
- Ensure data model changes are approved and recorded
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- Provide votes during estimation sessions and challenge estimations
- Ensure the Sprint Backlog represents a true and complete record of work completed (complete, all work logged, impediments logged and quantified)
- Form and manage a list of improvements or impediments from retrospectives
- Identify release readiness activities, create detailed implementation plans, manage deployment rehearsals, and ensure live implementations are controlled and managed appropriately to agreed governance controls (e.g., attending the Release Control Board)
- Conduct comprehensive unit testing
- Work with the department to set up, track, and monitor contact center metrics
- Handle production data, including sensitive information, and set up various monitoring systems to ensure the system is up and running end-to-end.

- The Ability to lead and coach junior developers
- The Ability to work well with testers and other members of the scrum team, including members outside the scrum team
