Salesforce Developer II, DSP Tech, Last Mile

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team at Last Mile DSP Tech. This role involves engineering leadership with strategic impact and high visibility. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous environments, possesses strong technical skills, project management expertise, and a proven track record of building products and APIs from scratch. You should be able to think strategically and tactically, demonstrate innovation, possess effective engineering leadership and communication skills, and be highly team-oriented. Excelling in cross-functional collaboration and integrating diverse technologies into scalable, user-friendly products is essential. You will play a crucial role in shaping and defining the design of our Salesforce.com organization.

Key job responsibilities

1. Oversee configuration and coding of Salesforce features: user management, security, custom objects, page layouts, validations, workflows, flows, process builders, and third-party applications.
2. Develop solutions using Force.com, VisualForce, APEX, Lightning Web Components, Web Services, and APIs.
3. Support system integrations across Salesforce, backend services, and AWS technologies.
4. Collaborate with product managers and teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs and enhance user experience.
5. Analyze and plan system enhancements, translating requirements into well-architected solutions leveraging Salesforce platform and products.
6. Identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce for process improvements, scaling, and advise on configuration, coding, or out-of-the-box solutions.
7. Handle support requests and resolve technical and business issues promptly.

Minimum requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing or architecting scalable systems.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Salesforce development experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, triggers, batch Apex, and APIs.
• Knowledge of full software development lifecycle practices.
• Experience writing technical documents and project reports.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and capabilities.
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Salesforce Administrator or equivalent certification.
• Salesforce Platform Developer (DEV-401) certification or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business teams.
