Job summary

Intec Select Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Platform Developer to build, configure, and maintain a Salesforce-based platform, with about 80% hands-on development and 20% platform operations in an Agile team.

You will work with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL, OmniStudio, and integrations, while supporting CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and releases. Experience in regulated sectors such as healthcare is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Strong Salesforce development experience
  • Hands-on Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL
  • OmniStudio experience including OmniScripts
  • Knowledge of Salesforce data, security, automation, and integration
  • Experience across multiple environments and DevOps support
  • CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated deployments
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Salesforce CLI, and Metadata API
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving across development and deployment environments
  • Experience in Agile teams
  • Advantageous: regulated healthcare/life sciences environment
  • Advantageous: Salesforce Agentforce or other AI capabilities
  • Familiarity with Heroku-hosted apps and Salesforce integration services
  • Advantageous: AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot/Claude Code)
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling and deployment automation
  • Desirable Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, OmniStudio Developer, Administrator, Platform App Builder)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and maintain Salesforce functionality on a business-critical platform (approx. 80% focus)
  • Build solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL, JavaScript, and OmniStudio
  • Translate requirements into technical solutions, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications
  • Contribute to design, testing, release readiness, and deployment activities
  • Support Salesforce DevOps, environment management, and deployments (approx. 20%)
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and deployment processes
  • Assist with environment management, source control, and configuration management
  • Investigate and resolve issues across development, integrations, environments, and deployments
  • Ensure reliable and controlled releases across environments
  • Collaborate in an Agile team, participate in sprint planning and reviews

Job description

Salary: £70,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Strong commercial Salesforce development experience
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and SOQL
  • Experience with Salesforce OmniStudio, including OmniScripts
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce data, security, automation, and integration principles
  • Experience developing and supporting Salesforce solutions across multiple environments
  • Experience supporting Salesforce DevOps, deployment, and release processes
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated deployments
