Mason Frank is pleased to present an opportunity with a leading UK-based digital organisation. The organisation brings together product, design and engineering expertise to create technology that supports its business goals and improves the experience of its users. Its teams value practical innovation, thoughtful collaboration and continuous improvement, and are focused on making business processes more efficient through well-designed digital solutions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to Salesforce development within a cross-functional Agile environment, working with colleagues who bring different perspectives to the delivery of effective technology.
As a Salesforce Developer, you will design, develop and maintain solutions across the Salesforce platform. You will use both declarative tools and programmatic development to address business needs, streamline processes and support ongoing growth. A key focus will be building Lightning Web Components (LWCs) and Apex functionality, while also contributing to integrations that connect Salesforce with external applications and services.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers and other Engineering team members to understand requirements, assess options and turn business priorities into reliable technical outcomes. The role suits a developer who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of high-quality delivery and is interested in how automation and emerging AI capabilities can create further value within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Develop, customise and maintain Salesforce solutions using declarative configuration, Apex and Lightning Web Components. Build user-focused LWCs, applying appropriate lifecycle hooks, Lightning Data Service (LDS) and complex form-handling approaches. Write and maintain efficient Apex and SOQL, with consideration for platform limits, security and long-term maintainability.
Contribute to integration projects involving external applications, APIs and web services. Support appropriate integration approaches, including connected apps, Apex callouts, outbound messaging, and REST or SOAP APIs. Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering colleagues to clarify requirements, estimate work and deliver solutions that meet user and business needs.
Review existing functionality and identify opportunities to improve system performance, usability, reliability and process efficiency. Participate in testing, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance, helping to resolve issues and deliver enhancements. Follow sound development and version-control practices, share knowledge with teammates and contribute constructively within the Agile delivery process. Stay informed about relevant Salesforce platform developments, including opportunities to use AI and automation responsibly.
You will bring proven commercial experience developing on the Salesforce platform, together with a strong understanding of both declarative and programmatic solution design. Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components, including lifecycle hooks, LDS and complex forms, is important. You should be proficient in Apex, SOQL and JavaScript and have practical knowledge of Salesforce integrations, API patterns and web services.
Clear communication and strong collaboration skills are essential, as you will work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to shape and deliver solutions. You should be adaptable, commercially minded and resilient, with a considered approach to problem-solving and a commitment to quality. Salesforce certifications are desirable but not essential. Experience with Salesforce AI or other AI technologies, SFDX or Salesforce CLI, and Git version control would also be beneficial.
The benefits package includes 25 days of annual leave, with additional service-related leave, a volunteering day and wellbeing initiatives. The organisation also provides a Christmas and New Year office closure, cycle-to-work and electric vehicle schemes, enhanced parental leave and fertility support, private medical insurance, income protection and a 7.5% employer pension contribution. Employees may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus of up to 10%, subject to the applicable scheme terms.
Mason Frank and the hiring organisation are committed to fair and inclusive recruitment. Candidates will be considered on the basis of their skills, experience and suitability for the role. We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds and will treat all applicants with respect throughout the recruitment process.
