Job summary

Keyloop is seeking an experienced contractor to lead the data migration between Salesforce orgs, using SQL Server as the staging layer. You will own profiling, mapping, transformation logic, loading, reconciliation, and cutover support in a delivery-focused role.

The role may be filled at Data Analyst or Data Architect level depending on experience, with architect-level candidates shaping migration standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering data migrations between Salesforce orgs or into Salesforce production environments.
• Strong working knowledge of the Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects and relationships.
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills, including performance tuning and data quality checks.
• Experience with data extraction and loading tools for Salesforce (Data Loader, Bulk API, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend, Boomi, dbAmp).
• Solid experience in data profiling, cleansing, deduplication, and mapping with reconciliation/audit trails.
• Understanding of ownership/sharing, validation rules, API limits, and cross-org IDs.
• Awareness of GDPR and secure handling of customer data.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and document the data migration approach, scope, and sequencing for moving data between Salesforce orgs, including cutover considerations.
• Profile source Salesforce data to assess volumes, quality, duplication, and dependencies across objects.
• Produce object- and field-level mapping documents between source and target orgs.
• Design and maintain SQL Server staging databases and schemas for extraction, cleansing, transformation, and staging.
• Write and test T-SQL to implement transformation and data-cleansing rules.
• Manage migration of parent/child relationships and correct load order while preserving referential integrity.
• Extract and load data using tools such as Salesforce Data Loader, Bulk API, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent.
• Plan multiple migration cycles (dev, test/UAT, production) and execute cutover.
• Design reconciliation checks and produce sign-off evidence for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data owners to resolve quality issues and agree transformation rules.
