Job summary

Cognify Search is seeking a Salesforce Consultant / Principal Engineer to collaborate with our Salesforce team on assessing the current platform, shaping the technical roadmap, and identifying opportunities to enhance architecture, development practices, and integrations.

The role involves refining the SDLC, CI/CD processes, and discussion of Agentic AI and Salesforce Agentforce to drive meaningful change. London Hybrid working pattern is available with a mix of office and remote days.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Salesforce Developer across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Hands-on with Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience refactoring legacy Salesforce environments.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Salesforce packaging.

• Assess and improve SDLC, CI/CD and development practices.


• Identify opportunities to use Agentic AI and Salesforce Agentforce to drive transformational change.


• Tackle larger architectural challenges and develop pragmatic, iterative solutions.

What we're looking for:

• Several years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, particularly across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.


• Strong hands-on experience with Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).


• Experience refactoring or redesigning legacy Salesforce environments.


• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.


• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns, with the ability to apply these within Salesforce.


• Experience with event-driven architecture would be beneficial.


• Experience working with Salesforce environments that are heavily integrated with other systems in real time.


• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git and Salesforce packaging.


• Salesforce certification would be preferred.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
