Job summary

NextGear Capital, part of Cox Automotive, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to own and optimise the platform across the UK & Ireland. You will work with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions, handling configurations, automations, reporting and user management in a live environment.

The role focuses on driving efficiency, reinforcing security, and delivering value through Salesforce improvements within a hybrid Chester-based setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience administering Salesforce within a live business environment.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including Flows, Lightning, Reports & Dashboards and Validation Rules.
• Experience managing users, permission sets and security models.
• Understanding of release management and change control processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and identify opportunities for improvement proactively.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise the Salesforce platform.
• Build and enhance Flows, automations, custom objects, page layouts and record types.
• Maintain user access, permissions and security controls.
• Create insightful reports and dashboards to support business decisions.
• Provide first-line support and troubleshooting for Salesforce users.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Support testing, releases and change management activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and maximise platform value.
• Assess and implement Salesforce seasonal release enhancements.

What you'll be doing

You'll be the go-to Salesforce specialist, ensuring the platform remains secure, reliable and aligned with business needs. Responsibilities include:
