Role overview
You will be responsible for the learning pathways of the Sales organisation. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for the education and development of both field sales and inside sales employees. You will use traditional classroom, virtual, and online training methods to ensure effective delivery and reinforcement.
Key tasks
• Design, deliver, assess, and evaluate all training and development activities for the company’s sales staff.
• Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill and knowledge gaps across a culturally and geographically diverse organisation.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to identify training needs.
• Create annual plans for Learning & Development initiatives aligned with business needs and growth strategies.
• Work with marketing and customer service teams to ensure shared focus and best practices.
• Maintain accurate training records.
• Build a core competency skills matrix for each sales role.
• Produce reports on sales staff development.
• Coach Sales Managers for ongoing staff development.
