Job summary

Northgate Insurance Services, part of ZIGUP plc, is seeking a Team Manager at our Peterlee contact centre. You will lead, coach and develop a motivated team of sales advisors to deliver excellent customer outcomes and meet KPIs.

You will act as a key escalation point to ensure customer satisfaction and fair outcomes, aligning with our values. The role offers a competitive salary and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience at a similar management level within a contact centre.
• Professional and pragmatic approach with people at the heart of everything you do.
• Strong customer service ethos and ability to balance customer and colleague needs.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a team and foster a positive culture.
• Excellent time management and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ideally experience in motor insurance, accident management or claims handling.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is confident leading people, passionate about delivering great customer service and able to create an environment where colleagues feel supported, engaged and motivated to perform at their best.

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally bring:

• At least 2 years’ experience working at a similar management level within a contact centre environment.
• A professional and pragmatic approach, with people at the heart of everything you do.
• A strong customer service ethos and the ability to make balanced decisions that support both customers and colleagues.
• The ability to lead, coach and develop a team, creating a positive culture where people feel involved and engaged.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ideally, experience within motor insurance, accident management or claims handling.
