Job Purpose

The Sales Team Manager plays a vital role. You will be responsible for the ongoing line management of up to 8 FTEs, primarily desk-based sales executives, focusing on cross-selling Telematics to existing group customers, and working on inbound leads and outbound data. The role is based at our flagship Bellshill cross-sell centre, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Your responsibilities day to day will be:

  1. Leading your team in attaining new business, managing customer onboarding, and developing strong customer relationships through cross-selling.
  2. Proactively assisting and driving your team to meet KPIs and targets by following up on business leads and leading sales efforts.
  3. Managing daily team activities to ensure productivity and activity targets are achieved.
  4. Motivating the team to maintain a winning attitude and consistently exceed sales targets.
  5. Conducting, documenting, and following up on regular performance reviews.
  6. Holding daily team meetings to maximize sales results.
  7. Implementing performance improvements to address underperformance.
  8. Delivering excellent customer care and best practices.
  9. Handling customer escalations promptly and effectively.
  10. Collaborating with peers to maximize cross-sell opportunities.

  • Experience as a Team Manager or Team Leader, preferably in sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms like Salesforce.
  • A practical, problem-solving approach to sales challenges.
  • Effective workload management and supporting your line manager.

  • Excellent team-building skills and relationship management with customers.
  • An enthusiastic, self-motivated attitude focused on success and achieving goals.
