SALES TEAM MANAGER ROMFORD
Location: Romford
Salary: Up to GBP40,000 basic + Uncapped OTE GBP50,000+
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (6-week rotating shift pattern)

WHAT YOU LL BE DOING
As a Sales Team Manager, you'll lead a team of talented telesales agents within a busy, KPI-driven contact centre. Your mission: drive performance, elevate standards, and create a culture where people love to win together.
Key responsibilities include:
Team Leadership: Managing day-to-day performance, ensuring targets are exceeded and energy stays high.
Coaching & Development: Conducting regular 1:1s, building tailored coaching plans, and supporting each team member s growth.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Playing a key role in hiring top talent and setting them up for long-term success.
Performance Management: Monitoring KPIs and using data to inform coaching, strategy, and decisions.
Process Improvement: Identifying ways to streamline operations and improve the customer journey.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring full adherence to FCA regulations and producing reports for senior management.
WHAT WE RE LOOKING FOR
Experience as a Sales Manager or Telesales Team Leader, ideally in a contact centre
A proven track record of managing high-performing teams in a target-driven environment
Strong people management skills you lead by example, inspire action, and develop talent
Commercial awareness and a strategic mindset
Confident using data and reporting tools especially Excel and CRMplatform
Knowledge of Travel Insurance is a bonus, but not essential
HOURS & SCHEDULE
This role is based on a flexible 6-week rota to ensure coverage across the following hours:
Monday Friday: 8:30am 8:00pm (with only one late shift per month)
Saturday: 9:00am 5:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am 5:00pm
