The Role:

We are seeking a Sales Team Leader on behalf of our client. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business. The Sales Team Leader will oversee the customer service and sales team. In addition to managing the team, you will actively participate in daily operations, including covering holidays and engaging directly with clients and partners.

You will lead and collaborate with a small team of Sales Advisors supporting clients and referral partners during the quoting process. Your team will play a vital role in enhancing sales conversion rates through their contact center and building customer engagement.

Responsibilities include:
  • Making and supervising follow-up calls to prospective clients who request quotes, answering questions, and driving conversions
  • Overseeing onboarding and managing relationships with referral partners
  • Designing and optimizing contact flows and creating personalized scripts for calls and emails tailored to different client segments
  • Managing, coaching, and mentoring Sales Advisors
  • Monitoring calls to improve quality, reduce errors, and track team performance
  • Handling and resolving complex inquiries
  • Evaluating performance using key metrics to identify areas for improvement and training needs
  • Using client feedback to refine sales procedures, policies, and standards
  • Achieving individual and team KPIs that ensure excellent client service and satisfaction
  • Recruiting and retaining new team members to support company growth
The Person:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Proven B2C contact center experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment
  • Successful experience managing sales teams
  • Experience designing and optimizing contact flows
  • Objection handling skills and the ability to craft messaging for various client segments
  • Warm and personable communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach
  • Comfort working in a target-driven environment
  • Experience coaching and mentoring sales team members
