Job Description

FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sales Team Lead based in Aberdeen on a Permanent, Full Time basis.

Working closely with their Sales Director, this role will take the lead in their Internal Sales Team, covering the sales process from enquiries, tenders and quotations through to orders and delivery, and maintaining key relationships throughout the supply chain.

This role would be ideally suited to an organised and reliable individual, with a proven track record in Internal Sales roles in the Oil & Gas industry.

Main duties include:

  • Lead and support Internal Sales team
  • Ensure efficient and timely delivery of accurate and commercially viable quotations and tenders, in line with client requirements
  • Oversight of open enquiries and orders, ensuring effective time management across the team
  • Management of delivery procedures and expediting orders
  • Assisting with reporting and forecasting of sales figures
  • Building and maintaining positive relations throughout the supply chain
  • Review and provide feedback to management regarding Supplier performance, and assist Sales Director with negotiations on agreements

Suitable candidates should have the following:

  • Proven track record in relevant Internal Sales / Account Management roles
  • Demonstrable experience in tendering / quotation processes
  • Strong time management, organisational and communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience with valves, instrumentation, actuators and related products is beneficial

Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
