Sales Surveyor - North London / Milton Keynes

£35K plus car allowance plus amazing OTE opportunities

About the Role

We are working with an industry-leading National Fire & Security business that is rapidly growing. We are seeking a proactive and motivated Sales Surveyor to join their team. The role involves managing a busy pipeline of sales enquiries, organizing diaries, qualifying leads from initial contact, arranging site surveys, conducting face-to-face customer meetings, and preparing relevant designs and costs. The successful candidate will produce tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and become a valued part of our National Accounts Team.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Respond to enquiries through various platforms to develop new customers.
  2. Visit sites to assess existing and potential customer needs.
  3. Review enquiries and compile information to prepare quotes.
  4. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure customer expectations and compliance are met.
  5. Produce cost estimates, obtain supplier pricing, and seek approval for designs and quotes as needed.
  6. Meet deadlines for proposals and follow up with customers to review and refine proposals based on feedback.
  7. Proactively seek new service and installation opportunities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  1. Experience in CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and fire alarm services and sales.
  2. Experience in surveying, designing, and quoting for security systems and fire alarms.
  3. Proven track record in business development.
  4. Self-motivated, driven, and capable of working in a targeted environment.
  5. Proactive, hardworking, and goal-oriented.
  6. Experience working with both new and existing customers.
