My client, a leading B2B gas supplier, is looking for an experienced Sales Support Team Leader to join their team in Bury.

Role

As the Sales Support Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the team provides timely and accurate data for sales and delivery processes. You will also ensure quotations are issued promptly and that all contracts deliver maximum value by identifying underperforming and non-compliant sites and taking appropriate actions.

Responsibilities

  1. Facilitate the quick and accurate production of prices by account managers.
  2. Support account managers in achieving a 24-hour turnaround on prices.
  3. Perform presales checks, including credit and consumption validation.
  4. Liaise with brokers and TPIs.
  5. Manage Micro Business renewals and related queries.
  6. Identify and implement system or process improvements to increase efficiency and meet regulatory requirements.
  7. Assist in entering the Electricity market.
  8. Develop and implement KPIs and reports aligned with management needs.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish credibility and build relationships.
  • Proven IT skills, especially with MS Office, including Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a challenging environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Experience in the energy industry.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing daily tasks within strict deadlines.
