We are currently working with an international organisation that provides complete and innovative feed solutions for conventional and organic livestock farming to recruit a Sales Support Planner to join their fast-paced business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a “best in class” approach to customer experience management.
- Confirm deliveries with customers for existing contracts using the Pre-Trading report. Update notes on this report to provide full visibility for the Trading Team on potential sales gaps.
- Update customers with monthly price updates, update SAP with correct pricing and haulage rates.
- Provide support and cover for other Production Planners during holiday periods and absences.
- Support the Co-Product Trading team as agreed with the Trading manager (Offering repeat spot orders, forward contracts, pitting, etc.).
- Manage sales planning on the Trading board, actively trying to close trading gaps to maximize sales opportunities.
- Enter sales orders/purchase orders to support Production Planners as required.
- Own all elements of customer service, including handling complaints, ETA enquiries, delivery date enquiries, update requests, and pricing queries.
- Inform traders of opportunities and competitor information.
- Manage incoming customer service calls.
- Update the trading board as customer confirmations are completed to provide sales gap information.
- Manage blocked orders.
- Develop and maintain information input into the C4C database system regarding all customer interactions.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Preferred Skills
- At least 3 years’ experience in a customer service or planning team environment. Knowledge of the agricultural animal feed industry is advantageous.
- Ability to recognize strategic planning opportunities and leverage them effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and social skills to build relationships at all levels of business via telephone or face-to-face.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make excellent customer service decisions.
- SAP knowledge.
