Job description

Working within the CSD, responsible for providing sales order processing support. Collaborate with distribution partners, overseas offices, and Business Division Managers.

Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service support to external distributors, including order taking, complaint handling, and supply chain coordination.
  • Focus on pre-sales activities and order processing.
  • Handle lead push-out and serve as the point of contact for general inquiries, e.g., technical or product-related, forwarding to the appropriate team if needed.
  • Support future e-commerce sales channels such as eBay and Elcometer Shop.
About You:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a target-driven, results-oriented environment, with a background in sales, customer service, sales support, product management, or business development.
  • Proven track record in customer management and/or supply chain management within a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in customer service, sales order processing, and related administrative and system duties.
  • Technical sales and marketing experience is desirable.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms.

Skills:

  • Fluency in English and another language.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical product attributes effectively over the phone.
  • Resilient and capable of handling deadlines and customer issues.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Proficient in IT, including Word, Excel, and CRM systems.
  • Attention to detail in data entry.

Additional skills include good organizational abilities, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and the ability to liaise effectively with various departments and internal customers.
