Job summary

Scott Dunn, a luxury tour operator, seeks a Sales Support professional to assist the Americas sales team across the guest booking journey. You will help deliver high‑end service, organise add-ons, and craft tailored quotations while supporting KPIs and targets in a fast-paced environment.

Based in London, the role offers exposure to premium itineraries, supplier coordination, and opportunities for progression within the Scott Dunn/Flight Centre Travel Group network.

Responsibilities

  • Dovetail operational requirements with the Travel Consultant’s sales responsibilities, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Organise additional elements for the holiday such as excursions, restaurants, spa treatments in conjunction with the Travel Consultant
  • Help build and design highly tailored travel quotations to deliver to guests
  • Support team KPIs and targets by assisting with guest communication both pre and post booking of a luxury holiday
  • Conduct pre-departure calls, walking the guest through their trip and ensuring that all service-related elements have been handled
  • Conduct post-trip calls and annotating feedback in the internal database, handling any issues raised
  • Support the sales team handling guest complaints pre-travel, or helping to resolve issues on the ground relating to complex multi-destination itineraries
  • Assist Travel Consultant with flight time changes, making itinerary adjustments to ensure the trip works as a whole
  • Support Travel Executive team in confirming all holiday arrangements, supplier bookings/invoices are correct and guest documentation is completed
  • Act as a second pair of eyes, spotting discrepancies and areas for possible error
  • Ensure a timely collection of balances
  • Obtain and accurately record all required information from guests on behalf of the Travel Consultants
  • Attend supplier meetings and training, including familiarisation trips to destinations offered

Role Purpose

As part of our Americas sales team supporting both Latin and North America, the Sales Support role will provide pivotal support across the guest booking journey; supporting delivery of team targets, ensuring our exemplary service standards are met, and adding luxurious finishing touches to the holidays. The role requires strong attention to detail and a keen eye for process execution. With potential of the position leading to a sales consultant role, it’s a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within the travel industry.

Responsibilities
  • To be a core component of the team by dovetailing operational requirements with the Travel Consultant’s sales responsibilities, ensuring efficiency and accuracy

  • Assist Travel Consultant with flight time changes, making the necessary itinerary adjustments to ensure the trip continues to work as a whole.
  • Support the Travel Executive team in confirming all holiday arrangements, supplier bookings/invoices are correct and ensure guest documentation is completed to the highest standard
  • Act as a second pair of eyes, spotting discrepancies and areas for possible error
  • Ensure a timely collection of balances
  • Obtain and accurately record all required information from guests on behalf of the Travel Consultants
  • To attend supplier meetings and training to ensure total immersion in the destinations offered, including visiting countries as part of a familiarisation trip

We aim to find someone who would be office based in our London, Hammersmith office.
