Vacancy – Sales Support Administrator
Company Profile:
ESS Employment are recruiting for our local established and professional client in Yate. This role would be ideal for someone who has some previous office-based experience and is looking for a role with variety and scope for progression.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•To assist in day-to-day administrative tasks in support of company sales and by doing so to contribute to the financial success of the company
•Answer/process customer telephone queries from customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
•Take customer orders over the telephone.
•Distribute incoming enquiries email to the relevant person.
•Use Sage to produce sales order delivery notes and customer invoices.
•Place orders with suppliers for stock items.
•Run reports from sage for daily profit figures.
•Process customer remittance advices.
•Process customer audits and keep records.
•Verify and post supplier bills on Sage.
•Credit Control - chase outstanding customer invoices by telephone and email.
•Submit meter readings.
•Manage gas and electricity contract renewals for the business.
•Prepare an agenda and take minutes in team meetings.
•Complete documentation from customers requesting company information.
•Participate in any other duties deemed appropriate by the Managing Director or CEO
Key Experience and Skills:
Previous administration/office-based experience is essential.
•Excellent verbal communication skills.
•Good mathematical skills – level 4 minimum GCSE Maths.
•Error free written communication – level 4 minimum GCSE English Language.
•Experience and good skills in the use of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
•Polite, pleasant, and helpful on the telephone and in general.
•Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
•Well organised and able to prioritise workload to achieve deadlines.
•Attention to detail for record keeping.
