The Role

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to join the commercial team as Sales Support. You will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative and analytical support across retail and foodservice accounts. As you grow in the role, you will become the go-to expert on your accounts, with opportunities to progress into broader commercial positions.

Key Accountabilities
  • Managing contract balances and monitoring stock levels
  • Producing and analysing weekly sales reports
  • Working closely with Procurement on lead times and with Operations on forecasting and delivery
  • Supporting the commercial team with customer tenders and detailed administration
  • Handling benchmarking and sampling requests from customers
  • Coordinating and managing new product launches, including new line forms
  • Carrying out regular retailer store visits to track performance and identify opportunities
  • Assisting the Category Insight Manager with reporting on category trends and developments
  • Preparing and supporting commercial presentations
Person Profile
  • Educated to degree or A-Level standard (or equivalent)
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a commercial environment, ideally within the food industry or FMCG
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • A collaborative team player with a confident “can do” attitude
  • Positive, articulate, and willing to take ownership of tasks
