The Sales Strategy and Commercial Operations Manager is responsible for high-potential markets, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving revenue through new customer acquisition. You will collaborate cross-functionally to optimize operational efficiency and ensure scalable sales processes in this region. The role acts as the point of contact for executing all Commercial Operations activities, both recurring and project-based, within the GV Rise team. You will partner with local sales management, sales finance, HR, and other functions on all Commercial Operations initiatives. Additionally, you will facilitate communication between Worldwide and Regional Commercial Operations teams and serve as the primary feedback channel for all Worldwide Sales initiatives.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support GV Rise VP in designing and delivering the regional strategic vision through Operating Plan cycles and local growth initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize new market opportunities aligned with company growth objectives.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for new geographies or customer segments.
- Coordinate with marketing, finance, and product teams to support localized campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and market feedback to senior leadership.
- Contribute to the rollout of WW/Regional Commercial Operations initiatives, including Sales Automation, Enablement, Training, and Policy.
- Provide data-driven insights on market segmentation and targeting in collaboration with Sales leadership.
- Track sales KPIs and closing metrics to challenge sales leadership and identify areas for optimization.
- Support fiscal year planning and go-to-market activities, including territory planning, quota management, and sales compensation.
- Ensure adherence to Sales Policy.
- Plan and execute incentive campaigns, contests, and events, tracking results.
- Own strategic direction, stakeholder relationships, and escalation processes. Lead analysts managing daily operations.
- Contribute to new hire onboarding and CRM/Sales tools training.
- Manage ad-hoc operational requests and cross-functional projects to support sales strategy.
EXPERIENCE:
- Strategic thinker with a strong quantitative background.
- 8-10 years of proven experience in fast-paced environments, partnering with senior sales stakeholders.
- Proficiency in business English, both oral and written.
- Team player with excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems and data management.
- Experience creating and updating Tableau reports.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
- Direct selling experience is a plus.
