Job summary

Timberland in Ashford is hiring a Sales Specialist (30hrs/week, perm, full-time) to help deliver memorable shopping experiences and inspire customers on the shop floor.

As a Sales Specialist you will deliver exceptional customer service, build product knowledge, mentor junior staff, maintain brand merchandising, and stay abreast of trends while supporting opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• 1+ year experience on a fast-paced shop floor.
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service and treat all customers with respect.
• Develop product knowledge and share it with junior associates.
• Act as buddy to new starters and assist onboarding.
• Maintain merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and Timberland's market positioning.
• Follow all store and stock room procedures.

We’re looking for a resourceful Sales Specialist (perm, full-time) to join our Timberland team basedin Ashford!

Our Sales Specialists (or Senior Sales Associates) are trailblazers on our shop floor. You will inspire our customers as well as our junior sales associates, helping maintain the highest standards on our shop floor.

• Providing the highest level of customer service, ensuring that all customers are treated with respect
• Developing a thorough knowledge of products in store and passing this knowledge on to our junior associates
• Acting as a buddy to new starters, helping support their onboarding
• Maintaining merchandising standards in accordance with brand guidelines
• Keeping up to date with current trends and the brand’s place within the market
• Following all operational procedures in the store and in the stock room
• Occasionally supporting the management team with opening and closing processes

• You have at least 1+ year experience working on a fast-paced shop floor ideally from a fashion and/or lifestyle background
• You have excellent written and verbal communication in English
• You are flexible when it comes to working weekends,eveningsand holidays as necessary
