Arqit has brought together a world-leading team of pioneers in engineering and cryptography, and we now have an opportunity for a Sales Specialist with a specific focus on the Telecoms market. We want you to bring your passion for Cloud technology and your expertise in the cybersecurity market to help us build a truly disruptive global organisation.

The role will involve working in our central London office, with considerable flexibility around working from home; there will also be business travel involved.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will manage Telco-targeted sales across the UK. Working closely with Product and Marketing executives to refine the go-to-market for Telco products, you will secure key account wins and continue to build the foundations for large scale growth.

  • Own and exceed large $multi-million sales revenue targets
  • Generate net new opportunities within FY25
  • Deliver high impact logo wins via key telco account plan strategy and execution
  • Define and manage sector sales strategy, reporting and KPIs
  • Proactively identify opportunities and sales process improvements
  • Sectoral advocacy for our unique cybersecurity capabilities
  • Provide telco market customer expertise and bring broad and deep relationships in those sectors across leading partners and suppliers
  • Deliver a GTM strategy for telco accounts, including Key Account Plans and manage all partner interactions
  • Understand and communicate key sectoral trends
  • Interact as the Telco sector SME with wider Technical, Product and Engineering teams to inform and develop product propositions to reflect market need and revenue generating requirements.
  • Refine and position the Telco-focused GTM strategies and value proposition in cooperation with wider Marketing & Product GTM activity
What we're looking for
  • Passion for cybersecurity, cloud, and encryption technology with a deep understanding of telco requirements
  • Acknowledged industry expertise in the cybersecurity realm, with a high level of technical understanding
  • A quantifiable track record of success in telco cybersecurity product sales
  • A high intellect and enquiring mind with a genuine desire to work on cutting-edge technologies and concepts
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
  • Creativity and flair, drive and intelligence
  • High degree of resilience, individual initiative and self-starter approach
  • Comfortable with change, complexity and significant challenges
  • Collaborative approach, happy working in a fast-growing and fast-changing environment
  • Ideally educated to at least degree level in engineering, or another technical discipline
