Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Sales Specialist to join ABB in a home-based role for Electrification, Smart Buildings Northern Ireland business. In this role, you will be responsible for sales of products, systems, and services within Electrification, Smart Buildings Northern Ireland, aligning with the division strategy. Your daily activities will include achieving qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable growth in orders, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also identify and develop new sales opportunities. The position is based in Northern Ireland, with a work model: remote.


Main responsibilities include:

  1. Selling products, systems, and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets.
  2. Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand needs and promote ABB's offerings.
  3. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  4. Preparing sales plans using authorized tools.
  5. Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plans if needed.
  6. Creating value for customers and ABB, ensuring successful transactions and proposals.
  7. Communicating delivery times, payments, and terms.
  8. Supporting marketing activities and communicating value propositions.
  9. Developing new market opportunities.
  10. Managing administrative procedures in sales processes.
  11. Ensuring technical and financial aspects of offers are in place.
  12. Applying standardized marketing and sales processes and tools.
