Territory: Southeast including London, Kent, Surrey & Sussex

My client is globally recognised as a market leading manufacturer & supplier of scientific technology that is used to accelerate live-saving scientific research!

As the dedicated Account Manager for Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry instruments, consumables & software, you will take full ownership of an exciting territory that has grown exponentially year on year with numerous high-value, blue-chip clients across sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Academia, Chemicals, Food & Beverage, and Environmental sectors.

Get in touch today if you live in the Southeast region & have 1+ years of experience selling Chromatography and/or Mass Spectrometry (GCMS, LCMS, etc.) equipment and/or HPLC/LC/GC consumables OR related life sciences laboratory equipment/consumables!

The role of Sales Specialist - Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry:

• Identify prospective buyers of Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry instruments, consumables, and software within your territory.
• Expand market share in areas like HPLC, Gas Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography, Ion Chromatography, Elemental, DIA, and related products across Pharma QA/QC, Environmental, Industrial, Food Safety, and Healthcare sectors.
• Maintain accurate customer data and sales information in the company database (SFDC).
• Understand customer requirements, align them with the company's capabilities, and communicate solutions effectively.
• Share account information and sales leads within the team.
• Support technical and business presentations at trade shows, customer seminars, and events.
• Assist in planning future financial performance based on market insights.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Requirements for the Sales Specialist - Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry:

• At least 1+ year’s experience in field-based sales or account management selling Life Sciences or Analytical Chemistry equipment/consumables/services.
• Internal sales experience in the Life Sciences/Analytical Chemistry sector is also considered if motivated to move into field sales.
• Degree qualification in Biological, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Analytical Science (BSc/MSc/PhD).
• Familiarity with industries like Pharmaceutical, CRO, Environmental, Food/Flavours, Clinical, Toxicology, Forensics, Chemical, Biotechnology.
• Ability to develop and execute territory plans and identify new target accounts annually.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Motivated with a proactive approach.
• Team player capable of working across complex organizations.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe.
• Valid UK driving license and passport, with full right to work in the UK.
