About the opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga

Join our nationwide Farm Source store team, composed of agricultural experts, and set yourself up for an outstanding career.

We are seeking a superstar sales specialist for our Cambridge store to provide sound farming product advice to our loyal customers, engaging in merchandising and customer service.

Your daily tasks will include processing customer orders and invoices, updating product pricing and stock levels, managing store filing, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with end-of-day cash balancing and banking preparations.

This role is fast-paced and offers opportunities to hone your agricultural expertise and explore multiple career pathways within the wider business.

  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with rostered Saturdays.

You should be self-motivated, adaptable, with excellent customer service and communication skills. A high level of physical fitness is required, as manual handling of items like 25kg bags is part of the job.

Prior customer service or sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry are preferred, but we are open to candidates transitioning directly from farm work or current customer service experts eager to learn about the ag/dairy industry.

Key qualities include:

  • Rural experience (beneficial but not essential)
  • Good physical fitness
  • Valid forklift license or willingness to obtain one
