Salary: DOE c.£55K OTE including Basic DOE plus Bonus, Pension, Car, Smart Phone, Laptop.

We have a superb opportunity for the right candidate to join our client's sales team as a Rail Industry Specialist and Area Sales Manager for the East and West Midlands. Working remotely from a Home Office, you will currently be a successful Field Sales Engineer or Area Sales Manager in the Industrial Electrical Sector with experience of selling into Rail Industry related customers, technical components, products, or services. You will possess the desire to build the area business, growing an already established customer base, having the determination to make your mark and take ownership of the development of the business in the area.

Ideally, your career as a sales engineer to date will have included working for a manufacturer and selling both directly to key accounts and also working via distributors and resellers. Experience in dealing with engineers to achieve specification or preferred supplier status is highly desirable. Electrical sector knowledge and an understanding of electrical industrial control is essential. An Electrical qualification is likely but not mandatory as long as you can demonstrate knowledge and success in the areas mentioned. You will have full support resources within the business, and your own energy will be the only limitation to the levels of your rewards and success. You will be building upon existing accounts alongside all new business development, selling the Company's full portfolio of Electrical Control and Automation products, both directly and via distributor channel, to the Rail and Transport Sector, Panel Builders, Systems Integrators, OEMs & End Users for applications in Factory Automation, Process Automation, and Logistics Automation for this highly respected manufacturer of components.

Ideally, you will be situated in one of the following locations: Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Coventry, Leicestershire, Birmingham, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton.

You will have a smart personal appearance, team spirit, and a positive, motivated attitude. Electrical/Electronic qualification or at least knowledge of electrical products, their applications, and markets is preferred.
