We have a new role for a Sales Specialist working with a UK Cleantech Market to create a sustainable future.
The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to have exclusively partnered with a forward-thinking cleantech innovator on their journey to revolutionise global distributed energy markets through their unique energy storage optimisation & monitoring product suite.
The business has a well-established, scale-up brand within the UK Cleantech Market. Additionally, they have numerous partnership opportunities ready to be converted, with the application of new Commercial Professionals.
Seeking an experienced “deal closer” to convert early to advanced stage discussions, originated by the SLT, into B2B technology sales opportunities & partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Act as bid & sales specialist within business sales processes – collaborating with internal stakeholders to secure desired deals with target customers.
- Actively progress specific near-term qualified sales opportunities in the existing pipeline with target customers.
- Understand the needs and requirements of prospective and existing customers from a commercial perspective.
- Work with the Product department to align efforts with customer needs and provide feedback, enabling frequent meetings with target customers.
- Collaborate with our in-house Legal specialist to contract with successful customer opportunities, facilitating future growth/up-sell opportunities.
- Work closely with the marketing department to increase awareness of the company's brand, product offerings, and communicate value to target customers.
Requirements:
- Versatile, forward-thinking, solution-driven commercial professional.
- Experience in closing deals, particularly in solution selling.
- Experience in commercial contracting and/or pricing.
- Preferably experience in B2B SaaS technology sales for emerging software products.
- A degree qualification, ideally in a STEM discipline.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from other departments.
- Strong social and interpersonal skills, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing and uncertain environments.
