Job description

Sales & Service Leader

The Sales & Service Manager is a key member of the store leadership team, responsible for implementing Alo’s business and guest experience strategies. This role requires a passion for sales, guest experience, and talent development, with a focus on ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Role Objectives:
  1. Investigate sales opportunities and collaborate with the General Manager to address process or system gaps.
  2. Oversee the Sales & Service team to deliver an outstanding guest experience through connection and product education, providing feedback and coaching to team members.
  3. Build and maintain strong client relationships daily.
  4. Ensure effective sales floor coverage by developing workforce solutions and leading sales initiatives.
  5. Partner with the General Manager to develop and execute the store’s Sales & Service strategy.
Business Leadership:
  1. Represent the business in meetings and conference calls alongside the General Manager.
  2. Monitor and manage budgets, reporting, and business metrics to inform planning and performance.
  3. Plan for future workflow needs to sustain optimal performance.
People Leadership:
  1. Ensure the team embodies Alo’s mission and values, communicating effectively to visitors.
  2. Lead through accountability, coaching, talent development, and enhancing communication within the team.
  3. Develop internal and external talent pipelines through succession planning and recruitment.
  4. Create effective schedules aligned with business priorities in partnership with the General Manager.
Business Partnership:
  1. Oversee the execution of key deliverables within the Alo Sales and Service Model.
  2. Collaborate with the Store/General Manager and cross-functional partners to support organizational goals.
  3. Balance business needs with brand culture effectively.

Schedule:

This is a full-time role, requiring 40 hours per week, primarily managing the retail floor and team coaching. Availability for opening, closing, and weekend shifts is expected, especially during peak holiday seasons including Black Friday through early January 2025. All employees are committed to supporting the business during this critical period.
