Job summary

Future PLC in Cardiff is looking for a Retention assistant to help keep our magazine subscription customers happy throughout the year. Reporting to the Head of Services, you’ll handle cancellation requests, address objections and work to retain customers by offering suitable solutions.

You’ll use our systems to capture customer data and outcomes, manage your workload, and hit monthly KPIs. This hybrid role offers flexibility with three days in the office and two from home.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with questioning and listening skills.
• Experience in retaining subscribers and handling objections.
• Sales experience is advantageous.
• Ability to meet monthly KPIs and targets.
• Strong time management and workload prioritisation.

Future PLC have an exciting opportunity for a Retention assistant to join our team, located in Cardiff. If you pride yourself on your ability to help customers, overcome objections, and find solutions, then this will be the perfect role for you.

What you'll be doing

As a Retention assistant , you'll be responsible for retaining our magazine subscription customers throughout the year, ensuring our customers are happy to continue their subscription with us.

Reporting to the Head of Services, you'll be;

• Point of contact for individual customers looking to cancel their subscription
• Achieving KPI's and monthly targets
• Objection handle, problem solve, and retain customers
• Use all relevant and related systems to accurately capture customer data including updating notes and outcomes

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

• Customer-focused with questioning and listening skills
• Sales experience advantageous.
• Excellent retention or selling and negotiating skills.
• Prioritise and manage your own workload and time.
• Work collaboratively within the team and other departments.
• Customer service experience
