The ideal candidate would be located in Yorkshire and able to travel across the North East territory which is from Yorkshire, up to Scotland.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains outstanding relationships with Stryker’s new and existing customers and drives recurrent sales cycles and continuous growth for our Patient Handling products.

  • Managing capital sales cycles for high value products.

  • Building strategies alongside the Marketing to increase brand awareness, selling capabilities and product performance.

  • Providing consistent and timely reporting of key account activities, forecasts, and other ad-hoc reports

  • Conducting product demonstrations and training for clinical staff

  • Attending sales training meetings, trade shows and other internal and external events to promote and give visibility to the companies’ products.

  • Meeting annual sales targets in addition to other key performance objectives

What you need

  • Ideally, a BA or BSc degree in a Biomedical/Lifesciences or business-based subject (or equivalent experience)

  • Demonstrable success selling Surgical or Medical capital sales equipment is desirable, although not essential

  • A track record of sales success

  • A valid UK drivers’ license

  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including NHS personnel and private medical staff.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Strong team player with the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce

  • Proven ability to attain new business and perform against financial targets
